Stores that take payment without losing the order

We build stores for the Gulf market, wired to local payment gateways and couriers, so an order placed at midnight is paid, packed and tracked without a spreadsheet in between.

At a glance

Selling online in Oman, not just anywhere

A store that works in Europe often fails in Muscat. Cards here run through local acquirers, cash on delivery carries a real share of orders, and shoppers want the delivery date before they pay. We build catalogue, cart and checkout around those facts, with Arabic and English product pages, prices in OMR, and VAT calculated so your accountant is not guessing at month end.

We start with the catalogue and the money. That means agreeing how variants, stock and shipping zones behave, then testing each gateway in a sandbox with real invoices before anything goes live. After that the store is built and connected to the couriers you actually use, with staff accounts, discount rules and a mobile checkout that survives a weak connection.

Every engagement includes documentation, handover and a named contact.

What we deliver

Six types of store we deliver

Six store types we deliver, from a fifty product catalogue to a multi branch operation.

01

Shopify stores

Custom theme work, product metafields, subscription options and app integrations. The right call when your team needs to change products daily without waiting for a developer.

02

WooCommerce builds

A WordPress store for businesses that need real content alongside the shop. We configure checkout, tax, shipping zones and bilingual product data properly.

03

Laravel storefronts

For merchants who have outgrown plugins and themes. Catalogue, cart and order logic built to your rules, from tiered pricing to purchase approvals for staff accounts.

04

Payment gateway setup

Thawani, BenefitPay, PayTabs and Stripe wired in with local cards, refunds, webhooks and clear failure states so nobody pays and gets nothing.

05

Shipping and couriers

Delivery rates by wilayat, cash on delivery rules, tracking pages and courier API integration so the driver receives the order without anyone retyping it.

06

Store optimisation

After launch we work on page speed, product page layout, search filtering, abandoned cart recovery and Google Shopping feeds, then report what actually moved revenue.

Why businesses choose this

Why stores come back to us

01

Payments tested with money

We place sandbox and then small live orders through every gateway you plan to offer, including failed, refunded and partial payments. You see the flow before your customers do.

02

Cash on delivery, handled

COD is where online stores in the Gulf bleed margin. We add order confirmation by WhatsApp, address verification and a hold threshold so refused deliveries do not eat your profit.

03

Stock that cannot drift

Inventory updates the moment an order is placed, paid, cancelled or refunded, and pushes to your courier and marketplace listings. No overselling from two managers on different spreadsheets.

04

The store is yours to keep

Theme code, plugin choices and product data live in your accounts. Leaving is an export and a DNS change, not a negotiation, and your customer order history comes with you.

05

Reporting tied to profit

We report conversion rate, average order value and gateway failure rates, not vanity traffic. Every month ends with what changed, what it cost you and what we recommend doing next.

How we deliver

How a store gets built

Five stages, with the catalogue settled before any design work starts.

  1. 01

    Catalogue and payment plan

We map products, variants, tax rules, shipping zones and gross margin, then agree which gateways go live first. Nothing is built until the numbers work on paper.

  2. 02

    Store build

Theme development, product templates, search and filtering, and content pages in both languages, all inside a staging store you can add real products to.

  3. 03

    Gateway and courier integration

Gateways connected and tested in sandbox, then live with small real orders. Couriers, COD rates and tracking pages wired so fulfilment is not a manual job.

  4. 04

    QA and UAT

We test order scenarios on real devices: declined cards, failed webhooks, out of stock races, guest checkout and Arabic. Your team runs a UAT sheet before go live.

  5. 05

    Launch and optimisation

We launch in a quiet window, verify transactional email, analytics and receipts, then work monthly on speed, conversion and abandoned cart recovery.

Questions

Questions about online stores

01 Which payment gateway should I use in Oman?

Thawani is the usual starting point because it is the local default and shoppers recognise it, with BenefitPay added for net banking transfers. Stripe is worth enabling if you sell outside the GCC. We implement the mix that fits your customers, then watch real failure rates in month one and adjust. You are never locked to a single gateway.

02 How long does an online store take?

A fifty product catalogue on Shopify or WooCommerce takes three to six weeks including design and testing. A custom Laravel storefront with tiered pricing, approval workflows or multi branch stock takes two to four months. The variable that surprises people is content: product photos, descriptions and bilingual copy usually decide the date.

03 Can you migrate our existing store?

Yes, from Shopify, WooCommerce, Salla, Zoho or a custom Laravel build. We import products, customers, order history and images, map old URLs to new ones to protect search traffic, and run both stores in parallel until you are satisfied. You keep the old store up during cutover so nothing is lost.

04 Do you handle cash on delivery?

Yes, because it is a large share of orders here. COD amounts, delivery fee rules, confirmation messages by SMS or WhatsApp and a customer verification step are built in from the start. We also report the refusal rate per area so you can see where COD stops paying for itself.

05 Will we own the store and its data?

The store is created in your Shopify or hosting account, with your own domain and payment credentials. We do not sit between you and your customer records. When the project ends you can export everything, including the full order history, and move to another developer or platform without asking us.

06 What happens after launch?

Stores need ongoing work: new features, seasonal campaigns, gateway changes and coupon management. We offer a monthly retainer covering a set of hours, monitoring, backups and reporting, or you can take it in-house with our documentation. We are honest when a task is small enough for your team to handle.
